Position Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Receiver to support our growing kitting operation. This role is responsible for accurately receiving inbound shipments, verifying product quality and quantity, and performing timely transactions in the ERP system. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, well-organized, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive inbound shipments and verify contents against containers and purchase orders in accordance with the WMS
- Inspect materials for damage, accuracy, and compliance with specifications
- Accurately complete ERP/WMS system transactions and sort/palletize received materials
- Coordinate unloading and staging of deliveries using forklifts or pallet jacks
- Replenish inventory locations with received materials
- Assist in maintaining proper storage, labeling, and cleanliness of warehouse areas
- Follow safety procedures and company policies to ensure a secure work environment
- Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory audits as needed
- Work collaboratively with the Warehouse Supervisor and team to support shipping, picking, and kitting activities
- Be comfortable performing other duties as required depending on business needs, including material handling, replenishing locations, storing, and maintaining the warehouse
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a warehouse receiving role
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in verifying shipments and data entry
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., IFS, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)
- Sit-down forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in a warehouse setting
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Familiarity with barcoding, RF scanners, or handheld inventory tools
- Previous exposure to kitting, assembly, or manufacturing environments
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, lift, and bend for extended periods
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures
