Hexagon Purus is currently seeking a Facilities Engineering and Maintenance Supervisor for our Mobility and Infrastructure business unit in Westminster, Md.
The Facilities Engineering and Maintenance Supervisor will get the opportunity to develop and manage a comprehensive preventative and routine maintenance program for both equipment and the facility. In addition, this role will oversee the planning and execution of capital expenditure (CapEx) projects.
Responsibilities Include:
- Oversight of planning and execution of CapEx projects on time and on budget
- Continuous improvement of equipment and machinery to include automation and supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA)
- Ensure effectiveness of repairs to equipment and machinery. Assist in the training, implementation and creation of procedures related to repair and maintenance.
- Oversees tasks associated with the maintenance of buildings and grounds, including renovations, expansions, and improvements.
- Oversee routine maintenance of the building including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, cosmetic, and structural damage.
- Preventative maintenance with a focus on total productive maintenance including comprehensive plan for scheduling, executing, and maintaining critical spares
- Prepare and present metric data to management
- Manage maintenance budget
- Supervising maintenance technician(s)
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of relevant experience (5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment in-lieu of degree may be considered)
- Must be United States citizen, lawful permanent resident or otherwise eligible to work in the United States
- Ability to interpret sketches, drawings, and blueprints.
- Ability to use test and measurement equipment for flow, pressure, current, voltage, and dimensional analysis.
- Knowledge of PLC control and simple control circuitry
- Experience with MS Outlook, MS Word and MS Excel.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues and advise on repairs to facilities/production equipment with minimum support.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A minimum of five years of experience performing or assisting skilled trade workers in the mechanical or electrical trades
